Liam's Jig - For our grandson, Liam Michael Timpane.

This tune of mine was a favorite to play, yet it remained unnamed, as many tunes do until the right time. I was visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Maryland when Liam was born. Jim drove down the next day, to spend a week visiting, and brought the fiddle and guitar so we could practice for an upcoming gig. I began playing this jig one night, a few days after Liam was born, and it was then that it claimed itself for him. It's a bright, happy little tune, like the little guy.
